TORONTO, January 28, 2010 – Just as he’s completing his “Cheetah the cold” campaign for the homeless, where he and staff continue to hand out blankets to the homeless, Frank D’Angelo dives in head-first to assist the suffering people of Haiti with the release of a new song to benefit charities for Haitian relief.

“Watching images of the disaster on television and seeing the pain and suffering of people who lost their loved ones and their homes in this tragic disaster, I knew I had to get involved to help. And then words of the song just came to me.” said D’Angelo.

The original words and music entitled “It’s Just Got to Go” by Frank D’Angelo is an inspirational tune sung in his classic R&B style and will be available through various retailers and online at www.frankdangelo.ca for only $2.99. With all net proceeds being donated to Haitian Relief.

“The maple leaf not only represents our great country, it represents how big our hearts are when it comes to helping those in need.” continued D’Angelo. “I’m more than confident Canadians will support this song, and in turn, help our brothers and sisters in Haiti.”

All monies donated from this song will be matched by the federal government. A gesture which can prove to be very substantial.

Never one to stand still when it comes to helping those in need, this past November, D’Angelo launched his own personal campaign to help the homeless by releasing a special rendition of “Silent Night.” The song, a remake of an old standard, was played on radio stations across Canada and available online at www.frankdangelo.ca and the iTunes Music Store with all net proceeds donated to charities that support the homeless.

Over the past several years D’Angelo has recorded and released several CD’s and performed countless benefit concerts in support of The Breast Cancer Society of Canada and many other charities. Whether it’s entertaining Canadian Troops or opening for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and George Canyon, when D’Angelo covers all-time favourites or sings intricate original scores he commands the spotlight and treats the audience to a non-stop show filled with infectious energy.

Frank D’Angelo is owner of D’Angelo Brands, a private company committed to providing high quality beverage products. Based out of Mississauga, Ontario, D’Angelo Brands offers a wide variety of beverages including D’Angelo Apple Juice, Cheetah Power Surge Caffeine Free Energy Drink, Soul Fruit, D’Uh Premium Old Fashioned Sodas, as well as private label and co-packaging services. www.dangelobrands.ca, www.cheetahpowersurge.com

TORONTO, November 4, 2009 – In the spirit of giving Frank D’Angelo is always first to volunteer and help others. And this holiday season is no different as D’Angelo launches his personal campaign to help the homeless during this holiday season.

“The holidays are about coming together, warmth, shelter, and a good meal. And it bothers me when I see people on our streets in the cold, in a country like Canada, especially during the holiday season, so I decided it’s time I do something about it”, states D’Angelo. Now he’s taking it upon himself to help by singing for the homeless cause with a new version of “Silent Night”. The song, a remake of an old favourite sung like only D’Angelo can in his signature R&B style will be available immediately online at www.frankdangelo.ca and on iTunes with all net proceeds being donated to various charities that support the homeless. The CD is also being incorporated into a holiday greeting card so anybody who purchases it can have it as a keepsake or use it to send to others as a holiday greeting card. D’Angelo continues, “My goal is to try and give every homeless person a hot meal and shelter this holiday season so we’re going to start an awareness campaign and hopefully radio stations and the media will support this initiative and the CD so that we can make this holiday season a warmer time for all”.

Over the past several years D’Angelo has recorded and released several CD’s and performed countless benefit concerts in support of The Breast Cancer Society of Canada and many other charities.

Whether it’s entertaining the Canadian Troops or opening for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and George Canyon, when D’Angelo covers all time favourite tunes or is singing intricate originals he commands the spotlight and treats the audience to a non stop show filled with his infectious energy.

Historically known for his distinctly raw vocals, passion, and energy, Full Circle is more of what Frank’s ardent followers and loyal fans have come to love. As Frank belts out his trademark style of R&B, Rock and Soul proving once again that music is alive and well. With every track Frank D’Angelo takes us to a place where he shares snippets of his life with every note he sings like only Frank can.

Frank D’Angelo has been in the spotlight as a singer and businessman for most of his life. As a singer he has entertained Canadian Troops and opened for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, Kenny Rogers, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and George Canyon. Plus, his singing has raised money for a variety of charities, most noteworthy The Breast Cancer Society of Canada. When asked about the new album Frank responded by saying “I hope that with this album I can humbly be recognized as a Canadian singer and songwriter and not just a businessman. After all music is my roots, I started in music and then moved into business.”

Legendary performer and one of Frank’s close personal friends Mike Reno, from platinum-selling LoverBoy responded with glowing praise: “Wow! Frank you really have come full circle, great music, great album. Highly recommended.” Another friend, Phil Esposito, wrote “I love it! Makes me wish I could sing. Good luck with Full Circle.”

TORONTO, October 9, 2008 –

FRANK D’ANGELO TURNS HIS PHILANTHROPIC EYE TOWARDS A NEW CAUSE.

Long known for his crooning in support of breast cancer research, media maven and entrepreneur in the truest sense of the word, Frank D’Angelo is now singing a different tune. This time it’s an original composition to benefit the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada.
“My new song ‘You Can’t Keep a Good Man Down’ is for all those men who have endured struggles in their life. For all those that have been knocked down but never stayed down,” Said D’Angelo who’s no stranger to doing his part for others. D’Angelo added that “the song was inspired by a very dear friend” of his who had a recent bout with the dreaded disease. Prostate cancer will afflict 1 in 7 men in his lifetime – approximately 24,700 men this year alone.

“Men don’t like to think about ‘below the belt’ health issues, and it’s a constant challenge to get men over the age of 40 to take their prostate health seriously,” said Greg Sarney, Vice President of the Foundation. “We applaud Frank for addressing the issue of prostate cancer in a creative way, and we thank him for his generous support through this initiative.”

Frank is no stranger to the spotlight. At the helm belting out vocals, his band is a musical montage that covers a broad range of musical styles, eras, and sensibilities—whether it’s entertaining Canadian Troops or opening for the likes of Tom Cochrane, Peter Frampton, Burton Cummings, LoverBoy, Gino Vanelli, The Temptations, Cowboy Junkies, Alannah Myles and George Canyon. When Frank D’Angelo and his band grab the stage it’s an unexpected blast of energy. Singing all time favorite tunes in his distinctive high energy R&B style, Frank woos his audience like no other entertainer can.

“The most important thing to me is to entertain a few people while trying to make a difference,” says Frank. I guess it’s true what they say – you can’t keep a good man down. The song and CD, with all net proceeds to support prostate cancer research, can be heard and purchased at www.frankdangelo.ca for $0.99.

The Prostate Cancer Research Foundation of Canada is the leading national organization devoted solely to eliminating the threat of prostate cancer. Its mission is to raise funds for research into the prevention, treatment and cure of the disease by engaging Canadians through awareness, education, and advocacy. For more information, please visit www.prostatecancer.ca.

Frank D’Angelo is owner of D’Angelo Brands a private company committed to providing high quality beverage products. Based out of Mississauga, Ontario, D’Angelo Brands offers a wide variety of beverages including D’Angelo Apple Juice, Cheetah Caffeine Free Energy Drink, Soul Fruit, D’Uh Premium Old Fashioned Sodas, as well as private label and co-packaging services.
After a short hiatus from the limelight, Frank D’Angelo is back, helping promote Breast Cancer Awareness with his release of a fresh new version of “Fly Me To The Moon” – an old favourite by another Frank (“old blue eyes”).

Commenting on this new release, Frank states, “I love performing and raising money for charity and now that I have my personal and business life back on track I will continue to do both”. All net proceeds from CD sales will go directly to help defeat Breast Cancer.

Having raised thousands and thousands of dollars for The Breast Cancer Society of Canada with his past songs, Frank D’Angelo (President and CEO of D’Angelo Brands) is kicking off the release of his new song during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and taking his 15 piece band on the road to promote it.

“This is one of my favourite songs, and I hope that it receives the support required to make it a hit and raise lots of money for a great cause. This song is for everyone’s mother, sister and wife so I hope that people get behind it and help put a stop to breast cancer,” stated D’Angelo.

With his past songs, Frank was grateful to have received national radio airtime and the support of retailers including HMV, Loblaw’s, Wal-Mart and Hudson Bay stores across the country. Again with this song Frank will be reaching out and hoping for the same kind of support.

To further promote and build momentum for the Breast Cancer cause, Frank D’Angelo and his band will appear live to perform the song at the 4th Annual Breast Cancer Gala in Toronto. Sponsored by D’Angelo Brands, this year’s Benefit Gala and silent auction is expected to be even bigger than last year’s. With an exclusive guest list including the “who’s who” of the business world, this year’s event will also feature prominent hockey alumni stars sitting with the guests. The black tie event is being held Thurs. October 23 at Forget About It Supper Club, 325 King St. West in downtown Toronto.

Over the past several years Frank D’Angelo has recorded and released several CDs and performed countless benefit concerts in support of The Breast Cancer Society of Canada and many other charities. With this aggressive push during Breast Cancer Awareness Month Frank, is hoping to sell 50,000 CDs for the Society.
